Care and Guidance of Children

Students enrolled in the Care and Guidance of Children program receive instruction in the physical, social, mental, and emotional development of young children. To reinforce classroom learning the program operates a licensed preschool. The preschool provides program students with practical work experience, and the implementation of a preschool curriculum that promotes early childhood learning. Students qualify for a First Aid/CPR license and receive certificates for course study in communicable diseases and child abuse.
